Place of Discovery
There are few places in America that offer the opportunity to study with Master-Artists with the enchantment of this small town. The environment in the hamlet of Rolling Fork, Mississippi, is one of the most unique! Here at Pat Walker Workshops & School of Art, you will experience a connection to a natural world where you are part of a place almost lost to most Americans. It includes an abundance of natural features and wildlife. It's not uncommon to watch as deer meander in the fields. Nighttime reward you with breathtaking sunsets as you seek the evening fare, and alizarin-crimson hued dawns are announced by birds waking you to the day. Each DAY! Each day is an opportunity to experience something inside yourself that echoes the rhythms of the creative-world around and inside you. Perhaps it is that almost mystical sense that surrounds the place, the feeling of discovery one finds here, no one can explain the deep reverence so many native to the area, and visitors have felt for this special place over the years. Perhaps Or perhaps it's something else . . . something only you can know and feel in this creative atmosphere MEET THE FOUNDER Pat Walker has been a dedicated artist since she started her journey as a child. Pat has studied with the finest living master painters of our time, and she brings this knowledge and experience to her class, Pat shares her passion for painting with her students and workshop instructors.
